These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the www.jerseyshorepowerwash.com website and any services you receive from McMahons Jersey Shore Powerwash LLC ("McMahons," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the site, requesting a quote, or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.

We tried to write this in plain English. Where it has to be lawyerly — insurance, liability, jurisdiction — we kept the section short and the language as direct as we could. If anything is unclear, call us at (732) 681-1111 before you book the work.

1. Use of the site

You may browse the site, read the blog, and submit a quote request for lawful purposes. You may not scrape, replicate, or repackage the site's content for resale; copy our copy or photography for use on a competing website; or use the contact form for spam, solicitation, unrelated commercial messages, or harassment. Content (text, photographs, the logo, blog posts) is owned by McMahons and may not be reproduced without written permission.

2. Quote requests are not a contract

Submitting the contact form generates an inquiry — it is not a binding contract. We respond with a written quote that states the scope, price, and timing of the work. A contract forms when both sides agree to that quote in writing (email reply, signature, or text confirmation is sufficient). Until then either side is free to walk away with no cost or obligation.

3. Quoted prices

Quotes are flat rate. The price you accept is the price you pay — no fuel surcharges, no weekend premiums, no on-the-day add-ons. If something at the property meaningfully changes the scope from what we quoted (we discover a third detached structure, the deck is twice the square footage you described, the driveway has an unexpected oil-tank pad), we will stop, walk it with you, and revise the quote before continuing. We will never increase the bill without your sign-off.

Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from issue. After that we may re-quote if material costs or scheduling have shifted.

4. Insurance & no-damage guarantee

McMahons carries $2,000,000 general liability and $1,000,000 commercial auto insurance. A Certificate of Insurance issued to your specific property is available on request for commercial accounts and HOA work.

Every quote includes our written no-damage guarantee: if our work causes physical damage to a covered surface (siding, roof, deck, concrete, landscaping inside our coverage zone), we repair or replace it at our expense. The guarantee does not cover pre-existing conditions (loose siding panels, failing caulk, rotted wood, lifting shingles, deteriorating mortar) that a normal soft-wash or surface-cleaner pass exposes or aggravates. We will photograph and document any such conditions before we start so there is no dispute later.

5. Roof soft-wash guarantee

Roof soft-wash services include a one-year written no-streak guarantee: if the gloeocapsa magma streaks return on the treated slopes within twelve (12) months of service, we will re-treat the affected slopes at no charge. The guarantee applies only to roofs that have not been pressure-washed, walked excessively, or had third-party work performed on them inside the guarantee window.

6. Customer responsibilities

Before the crew arrives, please:

• Close all windows and exterior doors completely.
• Move vehicles, grills, deck furniture, and outdoor decor out of the work zone where reasonably possible.
• Pull in or cover sensitive items (lawn ornaments, exterior speakers, mailbox flags).
• Keep pets indoors during the application and for at least one (1) hour after the rinse is complete.
• Disclose any surface or property condition we should know about (recent repairs, paint touch-ups, irrigation lines we shouldn't tread, fragile plantings) before we set up.

Water for the job is drawn from your exterior hose bib unless otherwise arranged. We provide all chemistry, hoses, and equipment. If we arrive and water service is unavailable, we will reschedule and may charge a trip fee for the lost day.

7. Payment terms

Residential work is invoiced on completion of the walkthrough; payment is due within seven (7) days. Commercial accounts are invoiced net-30. We accept check, ACH, and credit card; card payments carry a 3% processing surcharge that will be stated on the quote. Late balances (past thirty days) accrue interest at the rate permitted by New Jersey law.

8. Cancellation & weather

You may cancel a scheduled job up to twenty-four (24) hours before the start window with no charge. Cancellations inside twenty-four (24) hours, or no-access events on the day of service, may incur a $75 trip fee. We may reschedule for safety in heavy wind, lightning, sub-freezing temperatures, or sustained rain; we will notify you the morning of, and you will not be charged for our weather-driven reschedule.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job giving rise to the claim, except where our no-damage guarantee or statutory law provides a broader remedy. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (lost income, lost use of property, emotional distress, diminution of resale value) under any circumstance. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under New Jersey law.

10. Photography

We may take before-and-after photographs of completed work for portfolio, marketing, and case-study use. We never include identifying details (house numbers, license plates, street signs, family names) unless you specifically authorize that. If you would prefer we not photograph your property at all, tell us in writing before we start and we will respect that.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ocean County, New Jersey, and both sides consent to that venue.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted in a banner on the homepage for at least thirty (30) days. Continued use of the site or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
