What a house soft-wash day looks like.
We apply a sodium-hypochlorite-plus-surfactant solution at under 500 PSI — about garden-hose pressure — through a dedicated soft-wash pump. The cleaner does the work, not the pressure, which means siding, soffits, fascia, and trim get a real biological kill (algae, mildew, gloeocapsa magma) without the gouging, paint-stripping, or seam-blowing that high-pressure water causes.
Every house wash includes a pre-rinse of plants and landscaping, a 5–15 minute dwell, a clean-water rinse pass, and a post-rinse of everything below the gutter line. The cleaning solution is biodegradable and breaks down on contact with water — we use the same chemistry the EPA cites as the standard professional method.
What we don't do: pressure-wash vinyl siding. Even at 1,200 PSI you'll see streaks, lap-mark etching, and water driven behind the panels. We've fixed enough other people's pressure-wash damage to know.
