McMahons Jersey Shore Powerwash
Monmouth County

Manasquan.

North-of-the-river coverage from Manasquan into Brielle and the Sea Girt border. Beach-block homes here get the same east-facing salt-aerosol issue as Point Pleasant Beach but with a higher proportion of cedar shake. We soft-wash cedar with a milder chemistry and a brightener follow-up to keep tone even across the elevation.

Conditions in Manasquan

What the air does to Manasquan.

Manasquan sits on the north bank of the inlet, directly across from Point Pleasant Beach, so the exposure profile is nearly identical: salt off the ocean on the beach blocks and salt funnelling up the inlet through the Glimmer Glass and the river side. What makes Manasquan different is the material it lands on. There is far more cedar here than in the Ocean County towns, and cedar responds to salt and moisture differently from vinyl. It goes grey and blotchy rather than green, and the temptation to fix that with pressure is exactly what ruins it.

What Manasquan homes are built of

A high proportion of cedar shake and painted wood, much of it on older beach-block homes, mixed with newer raised construction near the water. Cedar needs mild chemistry and a brightener pass afterwards, which neutralizes the cleaner and pulls the tone back even across the whole elevation. Skip the brightener and you get a clean wall that dries patchy, which looks worse than what you started with.

From our base in Brick, Manasquan is a 9-mile drive.

Manasquan FAQ

Asked in Manasquan.

What homeowners in Manasquan ask us most. If yours is not here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Can cedar shake be pressure washed?
No, and this is the mistake we get called in to fix most often in Manasquan. Pressure raises the grain, drives water behind the shakes, and leaves permanent lap marks. Cedar gets low-pressure chemistry and then a brightener pass to even out the tone. It costs a little more than blasting it and it is the difference between cedar that lasts and cedar you replace.
My cedar went grey rather than green. Is that still cleanable?
Usually yes. Grey on cedar is oxidation and weathering rather than algae, and it responds to a cleaner-plus-brightener sequence rather than to the mildewcide that handles green growth. We can tell which one you have on a walkaround before we quote.
How quickly can you get to a Manasquan job?
Usually the same week. Manasquan is about nine miles from our Brick base and sits right across the inlet from Point Pleasant Beach, so we are normally in that corner of the coverage area anyway.
FAQ

Things people ask.

Quick answers to what shore homeowners ask most. If yours isn't here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Are you insured?
Yes — fully insured for residential and commercial work, including a $2M general liability policy and $1M commercial auto. We provide a Certificate of Insurance issued to your specific property on request for commercial jobs and HOA work.
Will pressure washing damage my siding?
Not if it's done right. We use soft-wash technique (low pressure plus a cleaning solution that does the work) on vinyl, wood, painted, and stucco surfaces. High pressure only goes on concrete and brick. We never strip paint or void siding warranties.
How long does a typical house wash take?
Most single-family homes are 2–3 hours start to finish. Larger homes or jobs that include the roof, deck, and driveway run a full day. We give you an arrival window and a finish estimate the morning of the job.
What about plants and landscaping?
We pre-rinse landscaping before any cleaner touches the house, cover plants that physically touch the siding, and post-rinse everything once the wash is complete. Our cleaning solutions are biodegradable and break down within minutes of contact with water.
Do you offer recurring service?
Yes — most commercial customers and many homeowners are on a recurring schedule (annual house wash, bi-annual driveway, etc.). We bill per visit; no contracts required for residential. Recurring residential customers get priority scheduling and 10% off each visit.
Are you DOT-licensed for commercial work?
Yes. Our trucks are commercial-DOT-registered, drivers carry CDLs where required, and we're set up to work in parking lots, drive-thru lanes, and commercial properties with proper traffic-control plans. COI and DOT documentation are available on request.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes. We work with several HOAs and property-management companies on scheduled common-area maintenance, mailbox-cluster cleaning, sidewalk pressure-washing, and inspection-prep deep-cleans. We can issue COIs at the property level and bill on net-30 terms for commercial accounts.
