Sea Girt.

Sea Girt's large oceanfront and lakefront homes mix painted wood, cedar shake, and pavers, and each surface wants its own recipe. We soft-wash siding and roofs, surface-clean the pavers, and bring extra plant protection for the substantial landscaping these properties carry.

Conditions in Sea Girt

What the air does to Sea Girt.

Sea Girt has ocean exposure on the beach blocks and standing water inland at Wreck Pond, so the borough runs humid from both ends. The lots are large and heavily planted, which is pleasant to look at and difficult to dry out: mature landscaping close to the house holds moisture against the siding and keeps the lower elevations damp well into the day. Growth here tends to start at the bottom of a wall and work upward, which is the reverse of what most people expect.

What Sea Girt homes are built of

Large single-family homes on generous lots, mixing painted wood, cedar shake, and stone or stucco detail, with extensive paver and bluestone hardscape. The hardscape is often the biggest part of the job: driveways, walks, patios, and pool surrounds add up to more square footage than the house itself on many Sea Girt properties, and pavers need re-sanding after cleaning to stay stable.

From our base in Brick, Sea Girt is a 9-mile drive.

Sea Girt FAQ

Asked in Sea Girt.

What homeowners in Sea Girt ask us most. If yours is not here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Do pavers need re-sanding after they are cleaned?
Yes, and skipping it is the most common mistake we see on Sea Girt driveways and patios. Cleaning removes the joint sand along with the growth, and joints left empty let the pavers shift and weeds return faster than before. Re-sanding after cleaning locks everything back into place.
Why is the bottom of my wall dirtier than the top?
Usually landscaping. Mature plantings close to the house block airflow and hold moisture against the lower elevation, and irrigation adds to it. The lower few feet stay damp long after the rest of the wall has dried, so that is where growth starts. Trimming plantings back off the siding helps as much as any wash does.
FAQ

Things people ask.

Quick answers to what shore homeowners ask most. If yours isn't here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Are you insured?
Yes — fully insured for residential and commercial work, including a $2M general liability policy and $1M commercial auto. We provide a Certificate of Insurance issued to your specific property on request for commercial jobs and HOA work.
Will pressure washing damage my siding?
Not if it's done right. We use soft-wash technique (low pressure plus a cleaning solution that does the work) on vinyl, wood, painted, and stucco surfaces. High pressure only goes on concrete and brick. We never strip paint or void siding warranties.
How long does a typical house wash take?
Most single-family homes are 2–3 hours start to finish. Larger homes or jobs that include the roof, deck, and driveway run a full day. We give you an arrival window and a finish estimate the morning of the job.
What about plants and landscaping?
We pre-rinse landscaping before any cleaner touches the house, cover plants that physically touch the siding, and post-rinse everything once the wash is complete. Our cleaning solutions are biodegradable and break down within minutes of contact with water.
Do you offer recurring service?
Yes — most commercial customers and many homeowners are on a recurring schedule (annual house wash, bi-annual driveway, etc.). We bill per visit; no contracts required for residential. Recurring residential customers get priority scheduling and 10% off each visit.
Are you DOT-licensed for commercial work?
Yes. Our trucks are commercial-DOT-registered, drivers carry CDLs where required, and we're set up to work in parking lots, drive-thru lanes, and commercial properties with proper traffic-control plans. COI and DOT documentation are available on request.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes. We work with several HOAs and property-management companies on scheduled common-area maintenance, mailbox-cluster cleaning, sidewalk pressure-washing, and inspection-prep deep-cleans. We can issue COIs at the property level and bill on net-30 terms for commercial accounts.
