Conditions in Neptune Township

What the air does to Neptune Township.

Ocean Grove is oceanfront, extremely dense, and full of historic wood, while Shark River Hills and the inland sections are wooded and sheltered. The township therefore spans the full range: salt and tight-lot overspray risk at the shore end, shade-driven algae and roof streaking inland. Ocean Grove in particular has some of the smallest lot spacing anywhere on the Monmouth coast, which makes it careful, slow work.

Neptune Township runs from the historic Victorian streets of Ocean Grove back through Shark River Hills to inland residential neighborhoods. Two very different washing problems in one township.

What Neptune Township homes are built of

Ocean Grove is late-nineteenth-century wood-frame, tightly packed, with a great deal of painted trim and porch detail, much of it in a historic district. Shark River Hills and the inland neighborhoods are conventional post-war housing in vinyl and aluminium. The two ends of the township need different chemistry, different pressure, and different amounts of time.

From our base in Brick, Neptune Township is a 15-mile drive.

Neptune Township FAQ

Asked in Neptune Township.

What homeowners in Neptune Township ask us most. If yours is not here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Is Ocean Grove treated differently from the rest of Neptune?
Yes, substantially. Ocean Grove is dense historic wood-frame housing with painted trim and very little space between buildings, so it gets the gentlest chemistry we use, careful shielding, and more time. Inland Neptune is conventional vinyl and aluminium and is much more straightforward.
Can you work in a historic district?
Cleaning is not usually a regulated alteration, but the practical care level is higher: original wood, original glazing, and paint of unknown age all argue for low pressure and a controlled rinse. If your property has specific restrictions, tell us and we will work to them.
FAQ

Things people ask.

Quick answers to what shore homeowners ask most. If yours isn't here, call and ask. We don't run a phone tree.

Are you insured?
Yes — fully insured for residential and commercial work, including a $2M general liability policy and $1M commercial auto. We provide a Certificate of Insurance issued to your specific property on request for commercial jobs and HOA work.
Will pressure washing damage my siding?
Not if it's done right. We use soft-wash technique (low pressure plus a cleaning solution that does the work) on vinyl, wood, painted, and stucco surfaces. High pressure only goes on concrete and brick. We never strip paint or void siding warranties.
How long does a typical house wash take?
Most single-family homes are 2–3 hours start to finish. Larger homes or jobs that include the roof, deck, and driveway run a full day. We give you an arrival window and a finish estimate the morning of the job.
What about plants and landscaping?
We pre-rinse landscaping before any cleaner touches the house, cover plants that physically touch the siding, and post-rinse everything once the wash is complete. Our cleaning solutions are biodegradable and break down within minutes of contact with water.
Do you offer recurring service?
Yes — most commercial customers and many homeowners are on a recurring schedule (annual house wash, bi-annual driveway, etc.). We bill per visit; no contracts required for residential. Recurring residential customers get priority scheduling and 10% off each visit.
Are you DOT-licensed for commercial work?
Yes. Our trucks are commercial-DOT-registered, drivers carry CDLs where required, and we're set up to work in parking lots, drive-thru lanes, and commercial properties with proper traffic-control plans. COI and DOT documentation are available on request.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes. We work with several HOAs and property-management companies on scheduled common-area maintenance, mailbox-cluster cleaning, sidewalk pressure-washing, and inspection-prep deep-cleans. We can issue COIs at the property level and bill on net-30 terms for commercial accounts.
